As befits a music and dance festival, all eager musicians are invited to take the stage – the more, the merrier. For a better organization of the event, we asked a musician to choose a repertoire beforehand and propose simple arrangements and also supervise the participants on that very day.

This year the honour is given to Birgit Bornauw.

Musician on violin since her young age at Gooik Academy, Birgit discovers traditional music and is passionate about bagpipes. She studied bagpipes and court musette (baroque music instrument) at the Lemmens Institute. Currently, she plays in several groups and gives many classes and internships. We invite you to spend a wonderful musical moment with Birgit Bornauw :

• no need to register ;
  
• participants are welcome to take part in the entire jam session, but they can choose to play only some pieces if they want to or if they feel more at ease ;
  
• enjoy the preparatory workshop on Sunday 08/09 from 11 am to 2:30 pm at Espace LEJEUNE (room) ;
  
• to allow the jam to start at the announced time, all participants are asked to be present on Sunday 08/09 at 17:30 at Escape SCHMITZ for placement and last indications ;
  
• and at 18 o’clock on Sunday 08/09 at Espace SCHMITZ … LET THE SHOW BEGIN !
